SDV Events

Use the SDV Events view to work through source data verification organized by study events.

Overview​

The SDV Events area is the study-level workspace for Source Data Verification (SDV). In the target environment, SDV provides two list views:

  • View by CRF (/sdv/events) — event-oriented SDV worklist
  • View by Subject (/sdv/subjects) — subject-oriented grouping

From either tab, users open records and verify entered EDC data against source documents.

Direct URL patterns:

Replace [instance] with your environment host (for example, test-2025.clinicaldatas.net) and [studyId] with the study identifier.

Who uses this screen​

Users who are responsible for performing or reviewing SDV typically need the appropriate study role and permissions. If you cannot open SDV or certain subjects or sites, ask your study administrator to confirm your access.

Typical workflow​

  1. Open the study and go to SDV (or use the URL above).
  2. Choose View by CRF or View by Subject depending on how you want to triage work.
  3. Use the Search box and list controls to focus on relevant records.
  4. Open row links (for example, Subject ID or CRF Name / Version) to drill into data that requires SDV.
  5. Compare EDC data to source documents and complete verification per your study SOP.

View by CRF layout (observed)​

In the provided study, View by CRF shows rows with:

  • Site (for example, Site 1)
  • Subject ID (clickable)
  • Event Name
  • Event Date
  • CRF Name / Version (clickable)
  • SDV status (for example, Verified, Not done)

Each row also exposes a Show all (8 columns) action, indicating additional columns can be expanded in-table.

Top-level controls visible on the screen:

  • Export as
  • Search
  • Pagination controls (Previous, page number, Next)

In the captured page state, 4 records are listed with mixed statuses (Verified and Not done).

View by Subject layout (observed)​

The View by Subject tab is available from SDV and routes to /sdv/subjects. In the captured study state, this tab currently shows 0 records (0 - 0 of 0), with the same top-level controls (Export, Search, pagination).

Exact row count and available actions depend on data entry progress, SDV configuration, and user permissions.

Relationship to configuration​

What shows up on Events is driven by SDV criteria, percentage or targeting rules, and related options set under SDV configuration. If expected forms or events do not appear, verify SDV settings and that data entry has occurred for those events.
