Overview
The All Studies page serves as the centralized command center for System Administrators to manage, monitor, and navigate all clinical studies within the ClinicalDataS platform. It provides a comprehensive overview of study metadata, current operational statuses, and quick access to study-specific actions.
Access this page via Administration → All Studies.

Study Statuses
Understanding the study status is crucial, as it determines which actions and configurations are available:
| Status | Meaning & System Behavior |
|---|---|
| Available | The study is live and active. Sites can enroll subjects and enter clinical data. |
| Design | The study is in the initial setup and configuration phase. No clinical data can be entered yet. |
| Frozen | The study data is locked for review or archival. No new data entries or modifications are allowed. |
Study Actions
The available actions in the Action column dynamically change based on the current study status to prevent unauthorized modifications:
- Go to Study Home: Directly navigate to the study's main dashboard and data entry interface. (Available for studies with
Availablestatus). - Edit Study: Open the study setup editor to modify configurations, events, or CRFs. (Available for studies with
Designstatus).
Search & Pagination
To efficiently manage large portfolios of studies, the All Studies matrix includes robust filtering and navigation tools:
- Search & Filter: Use the search bar and filter options to quickly locate studies by name, status, or other attributes.
- Pagination: The table supports configurable page sizes (default: 25 records per page).
- Record Count: The total number of studies and current view range are clearly displayed in the pagination footer (e.g., "Records from 1 to 25 of 33").
